Had to take the son to the doctor on Monday for a physical. We stopped at Micky D's for lunch, (his choice!) and these lovely pests are always in the parking lot waiting for dumb people like us to throw out a french fry or two, to them! They would get right into the car with you to get food if you let them, so I thought I would get a picture while they were makeing a nuisance of themselves. Have a great day!

Get them to show up for the Christmas bird count!!! lol
Trouble is, once you feed one they all swarm on you and your vehicle! Then they fight over the fries..but they are fun to watch.

My daughter likes them, but they kind of scare me. Once we were on the beach years ago and we threw some sandwich crusts out to them and at least 50 of them flew down all around us and even on us. It was like the Hitchcock movie The Birds! gah!

I kinda like them too. The Bossman calls them Sea Eagles......to which everyone head snaps up looking for something not quite as common.

I never thought of calling them that! I will remember that one!
I like to feed them also. We have very few out here in the country.
