This was the scene out behind the barn looking toward the back of the pastures. Mind you this was a week ago. Today, all we have had is rain and I mean rain, my poor steers were standing in water and even the garage ended up with just about an inch or more of water. Not fun. But it is what it is.
Not much on the farm that is changing. Still get up do the chores and head off to school. The hubby did tell me he heard that a raccoon was shot up on the college campus after I had left for the day. Someone had reported that they saw a large cat and I mean lion size. Ended up being a 25 pound coon instead and the campus security cop shot it. Why does this happen after I leave ;(

There's nothing worse that a January rain........unless its followed by a January blizzard.
All the fun stuff happens when your not around. Shoot that sounds like a big racoon. We had one here a few years ago but it was nowhere near that size maybe 10 pounds. he is no longer coming around ;)
Boy, we went through that not long ago...what a mess. And now on to mud and more mud and then mud some more.
At least, for us, the rain has stopped.
