This one is for Shirley!
The horses are muddy messes! We have been getting warmish weather and rain to boot! I had to add a photo of Sirocco, can you tell he loves to roll in the mud! Good thing I don't do a lot of riding in the winter, it is no fun trying to brush out mud.
I wanted to show off the ponies new halters. Shirley over at Ride a Good Horse, made them for me. They fit great and look so nice! I love the color. One thing that I cherish more than anything and that is stuff that is hand made by people that I consider my family and friends! I had a hard time finding halters to fit ponies, we don't have a tack shop that is close to us that would even carry them. I looked in Tractor Supply but all they had were horse ones or the web ones. I am one who loves the rope halters. Thank you, Shirley!
Hope you have a great weekend.

Will be well worth it!
We received another load of logs. The wood shed is just half full and we decided that we don't like going into winter without enough wood. Would rather have too much than not enough! Some of the logs are pretty big around! The bad part is now that school is just about done, I have no more excuses for not helping with wood. (I liked having homework as an excuse!) I don't mind doing wood, I am just not a cold weather person, especially if I have to be out in it working!
Hope you are having a good week!

Dryer!
We have a very wet basement. The hubby and son put in a new hole for the septic pump. Last weekend they dug a trench from the pump to the wet area's of the basement then put in tubing that had drain holes and put it going to the pump and now we will have a lot dryer basement. They did the digging by hand and Kegan did the mixing of the cement and poured on top of the tubing. They worked pretty darn hard and took them all day to accomplish it. A few months ago the son emptied the basement out so that they could work on the basement and now the hubby is working on putting some cupboards in for my canning jars.
Hope you have a wonderful week.

Sunday Stills (night pictures)
Nothing spectacular on the night pictures, I am horrible when it comes to taking night pictures. I haven't taken the time with the camera to figure out how to take better pictures. So, I took real easy ones of my favorite subjects! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Dinner anyone
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and to all my Canada bloggers I hope you are all well and surviving the winter so far! We decided to use the big grill for Thanksgiving and did a pork butt and turkey out on the grill in snowy, winding, and cold conditions! It was well worth the effort! The meat turned out fantastically! The hubby says we should go into the BBQ business. Matt made the big apple pie,(it was better than any I have cooked!) shhhhhh ......I don't want to let him know that, his head will grow bigger than it needs too! I did the pumpkin pies though, and I have to say they turned out pretty darn good also!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

He's Back
Yes, the hubby returned Thursday afternoon. It sure was nice seeing him after three weeks. He brought us a present, that is if you like coconuts! I love them, and even better, they were fresh! He cracked one open and we all enjoyed. The kids just happen to love them, also.
Well, just three more weeks and school will be done. Hopefully I can keep my high GPA, I have a feeling that macroeconomics is going to bring it down, but just a little. I am getting A's in all my classes except for macro. I am getting a B right now. I have just one more test in that class left, and hopefully I can bring that one up. We have it during finals week and that will be nice, because we have three hours to complete the test. I have investments on finals week also, and that will be three hours also.
Not much of anything else is going on. The farm animals are doing great so far. They are calling for some nasty weather for the next up coming week. Tomorrow we are to get some snow, not a lot just enough to make things miserable. Then on Tuesday night to Wednesday morning some more snow is on its way. I guess winter is defiantly here! I was hoping the snow would wait until I was done with school.
I will try to visit my favorite blogs today, but I do have homework to do, so we shall see how far I get. I will be catching up as soon as I can. I haven't forgotten you!
