Sonny Day!

I think I caught the son at a bad time!  He told me not to take his picture and that he wanted me to take it while he was emptying the bag into the bin, but I said no!  He is so funny, he takes care of his mom pretty darn good when the hubby is not home.  I will miss him terribly when he leaves the nest. 

Not much going on at the farm or home front.  The same old things for now.  Hope you all have a wonderful night.

Project completed!

The top two pictures are the runner that I did for my best friend, and  Inny it will be on its way tomorrow!  The bottom picture is a sample that I did for a customer.  Hope you all are doing good and have a wonderful day. 

The next project is to do a few christmas towels or a couple of table runners.  We will see if I can get them done before christmas.  I do have my doubts though.

Sunday Stills ( Black and White animals)

I missed some animals, but that is ok, I will get them in the next set of animal pictures!  Hope you all had a great holiday and weekend.  Back to the old grind until the next holiday.  Which I am and am not looking forward too!

The sun this morning was pretty.  It made everything look like harvest time.   I sure hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I was pretty busy cooking and I got  a little lazy after everything was done, so, I didn't blog.  I sure hope you all realize that I sure was wishing you all a wonderful day yesterday!

I have a couple of weaving projects done, and tomorrow I will post them when I get the finishing touches done on them.   I finished a table runner and did a couple of samples for a client.  I think I will try to get some towels on the loom and get a few done for Christmas time.

Sorry about the long hideous from blogging.  I have been having one of those moments of not really knowing what to blog and being a little lazy about going out and taking pictures that would be of interest to my bloggers. 

The hubby did another BBQ for the family Thanksgiving, we did two turkeys and a pork roast on the grill and they did turn out quite good.  The pork wasn't as good as the last one that we did on the grill, because the cut wasn't quite as good.   Everyone brought a fantastic dish to pass and that was greatly appreciated.  I was able to rent the fire house for 50 dollars because I am VP of the women's auxiliary.   It turned out to be a great day!

School is going good.  Writing essay's is my least favorite thing to do!  I am hoping that my writing abilities improve after all this writing that I am having to do for these papers!  I find that my brain does not like focusing on just one particular thing and that does show in my papers, I seem to be all over the place.    I did figure out that the dictionary is one of my favorite books! 

Not much else is really going on.  Just so you all know, Matt does have a job it is just that things are slow so he was laid off until things pick up; with his job the company bids on jobs and then the jobs have to get things set up before the company can actually go to work on the job sites.  One of the jobs he has to go on was not ready for the company yet, so that left him at home until they were ready for him.  All the other jobs that are going already had drillers working on them.   If you can decipher what I just wrote you are doing good.  See I told you my writing skills are not up to par  :)

Another day

No pictures today.  I am still here, just not feeling up to blogging much.  School take a lot of my time but now I have a nasty cold and feel like total (lack of a better word) CRAP!   Not a whole lot going on, the hubby is still not working full time he has been off more this year than any other previous year, which is not good.   The weather has improved, at least now we are seeing the sun more often.  It is getting up in the forties during the day.  Not bad for this time of year.  All animals are good, about to throw the kitten outside, she loves to play, the only problem is that she likes to climb and play in my plants, that is NOT good.   The one thing that is taboo in my world and that is nobody or thing messes with my plants!
