Archived from Sunday
Went out the Sunday to take pictures of the guys running the saw mill, and what happens? I get out there too late. They were just getting done for the day. They are sawing logs up for making a new haw rack for the running gear. Have to start getting things ready for hay season (when it gets here that is). Then after the lumber is sawed for that, then it is off to sawing logs for our raised beds for the garden. Hopefully he can get it done before planting season. Hope you all are having a good week.. I have been doing homework, trying to get ahead before next week.
Have a great evening.

Son
Our goofy son, he didn't want his picture taken and I sorta snuck one in as quick as I could! He is staying home this week and taking care of the farm for us. He is such a dear! He has this week off also. So, it isn't all that hard to take care of the animals. We only have two horses, two steers, one calf, two dogs, two cats, lots of barn cats, two sets of chickens. Heck sounds pretty easy to me :~)
Love you son!

All Done
I finished the next set of towels. It is what is called a waffle weave and it is the first time that I have done this design. I have decided that they will make fantastic towels for in a bathroom and I am going to make full size towels with this weave for bath towels. They shrink quite a bit and if I use a heavy cotton they fluff up pretty nice!
Hope you all have a good week. I am down in NJ with the hubby for the week, I cleaned house all day today and the rest of the week I will be doing homework and hopefully catch up and get a head before its back to school next week.
I have decided that I might go into accounting after I get my associates in Business Administration. I love accounting and some accounting fields you can make some darn good wages.

Sunday Stills (green)
The hubby has gotten the early garden bug. As you can see, the plants are up and pretty green already. I asked if he thought maybe he started just a tad too early. We still have at least two months before things can be planted in the ground. Then again, with the way the weather has been the last few years who knows? The plant in the last picture is the plant that the hubby bought me when our daughter was born over 22 years ago!
I think all of us are ready to see lots of green! Seeing these pictures will give us all itchy feet, whether it is to start gardens, do lots of horse back riding, field work or just smelling the fresh air of things growing!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

The spring break has officially begun. Doesn't look much like spring though! That is okay, I can wait. It is just around the corner.
Not much going on at the farm. Next week will be going to NJ to be with the hubby for the week and leaving the son to take care of the farm. He has the week off also. He will be happy to have the house to himself and he can play all the video games he wants and no one will be telling him to get off, he can sleep in and go to bed as late as he wants. He will be having a good week also!
Hope all my bloggers are surviving the winter if you have snow that is.
