The hubby built us some storage cupboards for the canned goods. We had a tin cupboard that didn't close right and it was in the wrong spot and just wasn't conducive to the jars and not very accessible. Now I have a nice dry place for the empty and full jars. As you look closely you can see jars on top, which means no more buying canning jars! He did such a great job! I told him he needed to make more for the other stuff that needs to go back into the basement. (one thing at a time he told me)

Just a thought, and I am not being bossy. When I used to have a big garden and canned I kept the jars on a shelf in the basement and my Grandmother said "Never let the jars touch you need an air space between the jars." Don't know if it made a difference or not but I did as she said:)
Nice cupboards. Why are they so high off the floor? Since you are already out of room he needs to build another one. He is almost as talented as his father! Isn't it nice to have a man who can do almost anything, and will!
