Well, the saddle blanket is finished. At least the weaving part of it. I have some finishing touches to do on it and it will be on its way to its new owner. Hopefully by next week. I am really happy with it and hopefully it will hold up under the wear and tear of using it. We shall see. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
We got snow accumulation yesterday and last night for the first time this year. Around 4 to 6 inches, which is not a lot for these parts. I am waiting for the big one like over a foot! The last couple of years we have been getting it in the month of February!

JB, it will be on its way next week!
Sydney, I don't know yet, I still have to figure the price of my yarns altogether and my time in weaving it.
threecollie, thank you, and I hope it holds up too!
Linda, you make ones that are just as nice as mine are! I should put leather on mine also, but I think we will leave it as is for now. Unfortunately, JB beat you to it;-)
Beautiful! What a lucky person. Lisa, that is simply lovely.
It's beautiful!!! A very nice job...looks like a lot of time and effort went into making it.
Kathryn, Thank you. I am happy with the way it came out.
gtyyup, it sure did, I figure I have around 12 and a half hours into the blanket without even including the set up time which was another couple of hours. But I sure do like the results!
Well done..it is a beautiful saddle blanket..hopefully you will get a great report back on it! :)
Oh wow! That is really beautiful workmanship. You are very talented with the loom.
The horse that wears that is not only going to be comfy, but very good looking, too.

Beautiful job!
Knowing a thing or two about weaving, I am very impressed with the design and the tremendous amount of work that went into making that blanket. You deserve all the praise you are getting.

Lisa
