Well, no pictures this morning, but there will be this afternoon. We are off to cut up our beef and package it and fill our freezer. Can't wait to have a nice fresh steak on the grill! I will have a party and you all are invited! ;) Have a wonderful day!

Grillin' season is in theory here isn't it?
Beef is really expensive here - $3 a pound for hamburger! We'll be butchering Url soon.

Shirley, I don't know for sure how high beef is here, but I sold it for 4.25 a pound. I ended up selling 3/4 of a cow.
I don't buy it in the store if I don't have too and I raise my own. I usually end up buying hamburger before we are usually ready to butcher again.
We cleaned out the freezer and brought home a bunch of beef..I like knowing how it was raised and what it was fed. It was 2.25 a pound cut and wrapped..I thought it was a great deal and we will enjoy it all summer:)
