60+

We sure had a doosy of a storm last night! No trees down or any other buildings but this one. I took the roof right off like a box and set the lid down right behind it upside down! It was around 10 o'clock last night when the wind came up and start whipping and next thing you know we had hail then the rain started and was blowing practically horizontally! I was up in bed reading and all of a sudden the whole upstairs shook like we were having an earth quake! I was just hoping our boat would stay up on the trailer and not blow over!

We are supposed to get another storm in this afternoon too, about the same as last night! Ugh!

Hope you all have a great day.

Stay safe. Wind can make such an awful mess.

Yikes! You might need some hurricane clips to fasten that roof on again. hope the storm today isn't so fierce.

Hi Lise, We had the same thing Wednesday night, north of us. It was late afternoon and the news crew got it on camera. Did a lot of damage to orchards in the valley. Pretty scary stuff!

Wow! That was some storm.

We have an enormous pine in our back yard. If it ever came down, i think it could take out half the neighborhood. It seems to be healthy tho.

I don't much like wind.

Hope your storms let up and give you some peace. :)

Wow! About like the wind that blows so often in this country! Hope it doesn't cause you too much extra work.By the way, I used the saddle blanket on a horse, by it's self and love it, tho' it is a little slick and slidey, until it gets some horse sweat on it and stiffens a bit and takes on a shape. I love it. Kind of wish I could afford another only wider and longer, for me on my bed or as a throw when I am napping in my chair! :-)

Linda,
It sure can, we had another storm and are out of power since 8 last night..

Shirley,
That is one of the first things we are going to do as soon as the insurance looks at the building.

Sam,
That is not good either! We had another storm come through last night also.

Crystal,
As far as we know we just lost power so far.

Kathryn,
The wind sure isn't nice and around here we get lots of it. I was surprised that the trees in front of the house didn't come down.

JB,
We still can do the trade thing! But I am wondering if maybe instead of a saddle have you do me a pair of chinks or chaps. Or just let you teach me how to rope and so on when I come out!!!

We just had that same ugly wind here for two days. We lost lots of shingles but nothing like you. I"m sorry that you had to go through this.
