I am still here!

I am still alive and kickin!  I have just been real lazy about posting lately!

The son left last Tuesday for his trip and the first two days were a lot harder than I had expected, but now I am used to it and I enjoy having the house to myself actually!  It gets a little lonely but hey, I have lots to keep me busy, like the garden, horses, weaving, cows, chickens, dogs , cats and need I say more.

The hubby was home for the holiday weekend and we spent it mowing lawn and visiting with family.  Now he has left for NC again this morning and he is busting my butt for not blogging as he likes to know about things on the home front, so I better keep up with the blog for him.   Of course I miss catching up with all of you too so it is not just for his sake that I blog, I am actually missing all of you too!  Tomorrow I will spend the morning catching up with you and see what you all have been up to lately!

In the mean time, I hope you all had a wonderful fourth and I will be talking to you all tomorrow!

I thought of you a lot today...glad you are doing okay. Used the wonderful new towels. All I can say is that your weaving just gets better and better. Thanks!

I can remember just how being alone feels. A litle good, and a little bad. Time to do all the stuff yuo want to do and nobody to bother you.....and no inclination to do it. Every little creak of the house makes you wonder who is there. But you do have some great dogs for company, and Tawny is there now and then. Keep up your spirits. We love you.

ah lisa, i loved what your mom wrote!!! :) i like being alone to get the work done in the afternoons but after dark, not as much but the four dogs and 4 cats in the house truly fill up any 'empty' space one might feel with no living being around. i am very thankful my good husband is here with me daily though sometimes we do get under eachother's skin now that he is retired. :) oh well, i guess many folks go thru that. take care and i am glad you posted. take a look at blue's hat...he was such a good boy for his bad mama!!!

Good to hear from you!
Too funny about the hubby and blogging. My hubby is the same way, especially now that he's working in Phoenix during the week. He wants to know what we're up to around here. lol!

Hear ya about the son going away, too. My twinlings will be leaving for summer camp in a week and will be gone for 2 weeks. It probably sounds weird to some people, but I miss them already!

Take care and enjoy the summer. :)
