I don't remember when; but the hubby was out walking in our woods and happened upon this tree, he smelled the honey first; then he heard the bees. He left them alone, but then this past weekend wanted to go out and see if we could find them again and mark the tree, because he found out that if someone happens upon the bees then they can claim the bees rather if they are on our property or not.
We did get new bees last weekend. We did end up putting them closer to the house. Hopefully it won't be an issue. We shall see. If you don't hear from me I ran for the hills and will be back when they leave ;)
One more day of school and then it will be vacation time!!!! I can't wait to get to work then!

Interesting! How do you convince the bees to go home with you? Smoke 'em out? Or invite them for tea and scones?

How exciting to be done school! Congrats. How neat they live in a tree, I didnt know bees did that.
It's Friday! You should be all done with school..way to go gal! You did it! Now have some "me" time doing the things you love best! :)

It sure is time to play, now I can actually spend time with my horses and do some much needed weaving!
