This is the dam that holds the lake that we visit every year for a week. The lake is Peck's. We went up to the lake last week to take the cover to our boat up to get it fixed and stopped to see if we could get our boat ready for the holiday weekend. So, we will be going out on the lake this weekend.

Wow! The power of water! Sure do wish we could have some of that here in NM. The wildfires are raging out of control in the Gila Mountains...over 100,000 acres burned already!
