Starting to finally feel like fall is here.  It was chilly here this morning, down in the low 40's, felt cool, crisp and refreshing actually!  The horses sure love this kind of weather, too.  The high for today is the low 70's, which isn't bad at all.

We have been pretty busy here, doing hay and Matt's niece is getting married at the end of the month and I was asked to be in the wedding and we are going to do the BBQing for the party.  We tried to get someone else to do it but it was awful expensive to have someone else do it; so, we decided that we would build our own and do it for her.  I will post pictures of the grill tomorrow! Well, the progress that we are making any way.  We are not done with it yet.

Then we still have wood to saw and split  for the winter months; we have to service our wood stove for winter; we are thinking of trying to get heat out to the barn upstairs, so that I can weave in the winter and not freeze, hopefully we can get it done this year.  Went and got some tomatoes from the hubbies Aunt yesterday and I will be putting them up, also.  Busy, Busy, Busy!

Hope you all have a great day.

Every time someone says they need wood for a stove, i am so jealous, I so want a wood stove!

Sounds like lots to do before winter sets in.

What about a pellet stove for upstairs?

Like you say...having that horrendous heat gone is REFRESHING!!!

Hi Lisa, You have the same stove as we do. You should be able to run a second line to heat your weaving room..it would take some doing but it is possible. My husband should heat his garage with ours..we use to heat the greenhouse. I think the accessories are better now..they have insulated stuff to run the hose in..I made my own insulated boxes for the lines with a seperator..one side heat and the other side return. We have had our stove about 14 years now...it keeps the house real cozy :)
