Not a whole lot going on.  The hubby was laid off the last week and a half.  Finally went back yesterday. (thank goodness)  I love him dearly but he does drive me crazy when he is home too long, I don't get home work done and among other things, housework, bills ;)

School is going ok, I am still running three A's and one B+.   It has been a hard semester though.  Seems to be a read, read, read, read, semester!   I love to read but lets get real, NOT school books.
All I have to do now is retain what I read.   That is the big thing, is if I will remember the things that I have read and learned.   My brain doesn't like to retain some things.

The weather has been pretty gloomy for quite a long time.  When the sun comes back we might all go blind.  We fared the hurricane pretty good up here but I really feel bad for the New Jersey and New York coast.    I don't know how much you folks get to see the pictures of the devastation but it is not a pretty sight.   People realize in a hurry how precious electricity is.  I am glad that I don't live anywhere near the ocean now.   I will stay here on my mountain.   My prayers are with all the people that lost their homes and any loved ones.

On that note, I will wish everyone a happy and safe day.

It has been dreary here too and we have not seen the sun in days. I expect dreary in November but not October..and now it is November so I suppose it will continue.
Good to hear school is going okay..and your grades are great!! Remember you just have to retain the info until Finals..then your brain can dump it. I think that part is the hardest when you get older..the retaining part.
I have been watching the news..I have never been to the east coast..so many people..not sure I would like all the people and traffic..but they seem to have a real big mess on their hands. I wonder how long til they run out of food and riots start? :(

I have a very hard time with not seeing the sun...I even had to change out my light bulbs for those that help with the problem. A cloud now and then but not for days and days and days.

Glad your husband is back to work...work is precious thing!

Moooo!

Nice to have the hubby back at work, here mine is indoors more in winter (and I cant blame him for that) but sure does make it harder to get stuff done.

I feel bad for them too, sure makes me glad I am living on the prairies.

I'm sorry about the lay-off. I'm the same way about my husband being home for too many days in a row. We both get on each other's nerves and there are many more messes to clean up for me.
I can;t imagine living somewhere where the sun doesn't shine every day.
Even when we do get rain here in New Mexico during the few weeks of our Monsoon Season, the clouds and rain only last for an hour or so, and then the sun come right back out. We're used to over 350+ days of sunshine in New Mexico.
I would be so depressed not to have our beautiful blue skies and sunshine every day :(
I hope you all get some sunshine soon. It will really help lift your mood and give you some Vit D, too.

Good for you with you school grades...and your patience for all that school book reading, too.
