As you can see from the last picture, the fish are surviving in the heated pond. The only bad thing is all the heaters being used to keep water from freezing and keeping my weaving room in the barn warm is costing us an arm and a leg! I hate winter! Bill went from 260 to 450! We wonder why money goes no where.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and stay warm if you happen to live in one of those states that get colder than Hades, and stay cool if you are where it gets hotter than the devil. ;~)

Holey moley that's a whopping big power bill! Can you heat the barn with the outdoor stove too?
Yes, Shirley, I can heat the barn, the problem is its going to take approximately 2 grand to get it hooked up to the barn. We were going to do it last year but funds ran low and we didn't get it done. Hopefully this year we will be able to get it done.
If you can dig your own lines and make your own boxes..although I hear tell that they now have some kind of special insulated tubing for the water lines..it would be less.. Far Guy dug all our lines in by hand and I built and laid the lines in special boxes made from that thick yellow insulation. Maybe you could run one leg to your fish pond..:)
Far Side has a really neat idea..
