We spent all day yesterday putting up our sauerkraut, and then we went right into canning more pear jam. We still have 3/4 of a bushel of pears to do today! When we are done with these pears, I will be really tired of looking at pears! We ended up with 42 pints of sauerkraut. I couldn't quit sneaking bites of the kraut in every so often!
