Polar Express

Saturday we went on the Polar Express train.  We were read the story, had hot chocolate, a cookie and listened to Christmas music.  We even got to see Santa and his elves.  Matt's Aunt Sandy and his cousin went along with us.  It was actually his Aunt that has wanted to go on the ride.  They have the train ride every year in Saratoga Springs.   It was a wonderful experience.

Hope your week is going good.  We plan on staying in on New Years Eve night and having snack foods and just enjoy being with the kids while they are still living at home.  Hope you have a wonderful New Years day.

Happy New Year Lisa! We are invited to a friend's for dinner tonight, and we will likely be home and sound asleep when the old year fades into the new.

I like your reasoning. Too soon the kids are grown and off on their own. It was so nice having you all here Saturday for the bird count. Marianne kept saying "Mom you don't have to feed us" but I enjoy the inning and outing and hustle and bustle of having you all here. I wish some of Mike's kids would come some time. I look forward to it every year. Stay in, stay safe. We love you all. Mom
