Workin to make a livin

This is just one of many drills the hubby runs for his job.  He is stuck down in Washington D.C. , two weeks at a time for most of the summer.  It has been pretty darn hot (he hates the heat), but he is persevering.   He hates being gone during the summer, especially when he knows that there is a ton of things that need to get done on the farm.  I can do a lot, but there are certain things that I really can't do and don't want to do!  I just want to say a BIG thank you to him for doing what he does.  He supports four of us(two that should be on their own).  He is wonderful and I want him to know that I really love him for taking care of his family and sacrificing everything he does for us!  Love you honey!

I have been working on scarves and finally took off another warp.  I now have 6 woven scarves and I am in the process of finishing them.  I will post pictures soon.  I am gradually getting things woven. The rain has finally stopped and the sun actually came out at the end of the day.  I hope to finish getting the pond area ready for the new patio.   I have a sign to paint yet before this weekend arrives.  I hope to get that done tomorrow.

Hope you are having a great week.

Your scenes are beautiful, and I can't wait to see the scarves.
