Nothing better than being at the top of the world.

The mountain                                              The Proof we made it
The panoramic view off the top of the mountain!

Another picture of the view off the top of the mountain.  So, yes, it was just wonderful and well worth the pain and agony of the climb up and back down.

Today was spent working on stacking wood, getting ready for dog training.  Sara and I are going to a training class next week and for the next 6 weeks.  I am looking forward to it.  It will be nice to know what and how to get her to behave.  All I have to do is the homework and make sure the rest of the family learns from me what needs to be done, so Sara doesn't get confused.

Tomorrow is my least favorite day of the week, grocery shopping!  I hope to get out of the house before it gets  too late in the morning, and that way I can make it back home earlier in the day.  Sunday we go and bring Sirocco home and then the riding begins.  I am going to start out in the corral and then once we are both back to being comfortable with each, we will go out back and ride on the property.  I have some wonderful people helping me with my confidence and hopefully I will get my riding back up to what it used to be.

Hope you have a great night.

Sure is pretty up there. I think dog training is a good idea, be nice to have something consistent. And ya about Sirocco, will be fun to get riding again.

Sounds like you are going to be busy for a while! Sara will do fine, and great that you are finally getting your horse home. Hope you can find a riding buddy too, it makes it more fun.
