It has been great weather, if you are a duck! It has been rather a wet winter and spring. Mud season started before spring ever sprung. The clouds and fog are hiding the mountains in the distance. I had to go to my interview in a down pour. Good thing, that it was indoors.
I did get the job. I start on Monday and will work three days to start then work into full time. I am going to be a payroll clerk for an accountants office. The accounting department is on the bottom floor and the payroll department is on the second floor. We do payroll for other businesses. I will be doing data entry and answering phones. I have never really worked in an office. It will be a great change from working in a factory. I even have my own desk. I will be working with the manager for about a month. Then, I will hopefully have the hang of things and will be on my own. She said that it will take at least three months to know really everything, that I need to do the job and it takes a good year to be really proficient on the job. I am nervous, but I do know the people that I will be working for, and they are really nice. I am excited also, even though I am nervous at the same time.
I am going to miss being able to come and go as I please. Weaving and the farm just isn't enough to stay home for. I still plan on doing weaving on the side and doing some craft fairs and things this summer. The farm is so small that it doesn't require that I be home all the time. I am looking forward to interacting with other people again. I am left to myself all too much at times. I miss having other people to talk to. (besides just my kids)
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. I was lax on getting on the Internet and wishing everyone a Happy Easter. I did dinner for the family and the Aunt and Uncle. It was a nice day, but busy. So, Happy Easter late to all my wonderful friends and family.

Happy Easter! You will do great at the new job! I hope you like it! :)
Congrats on the job! I'm sure you will be great. And it is nice to be able to visit, we are too far from town or I would probly have a part time job but I don't so I get to do what I want...mostly.
Congratulations!
