I was lucky enough to get the pair of wagons for just a little over 2,000. Which is not cheap but it is a lot cheaper than brand new ones! Now we will be able to get more hay made for ourselves this year and a lot faster also! Have a great day.
Shirley, We put up square bales. I usually go to the auctions with the hubby and he does all the work, but he had to work so it was left up to me and I actually enjoyed the bidding. I think I will be going to more of them. We have another one at the end of the month that is only down the road about a mile from where we live.

Lisa, the tires are pretty good on both and the wood is not bad, just a couple of boards and that is all.
Connie, The other three wagons went for 1300 a piece and 1000 a piece and they weren't as good a shape as the ones I got. So, it is but yet they are hard to come by and the new wagons cost you over 3200 a piece for them.

Sounds like a good buy. Will you have to replace the wood and the tires on the wagons, or are they in good shape?

Seems expensive to me..but it has been a long time since I have been to a farm machinery auction:)
