Here again!

I am down in NJ again, cleaning the guy's house and spending time with the hubby.  He is off to NC for a few weeks, they say it should only take a couple of weeks but he seems to think he will be down there until we go on vacation which is the 16th of July!   I am not going to like that but what do you do.  Someone has to stay home and make sure the livestock survives (correctly that is).  Love the kids but they defiantly are not going to be farmers when they grow up!

The son is going away for 22 days on the 28th he leaves and he will not be back until the 19 of July.  I am losing both of my favorite men!  NOT fair.  It is going to be the first time the son has been away from home that long, I think the longest he has ever been gone has been 4 days.  It is a program where they go to the wilds of Maine and go hiking and canoeing and survive.  They have one adult per 10 kids and they have three days that they will separate the kids so they are by themselves and they check up on them but they won't see then do it.  They say that the two things that happen the most on these trips is blisters and home sickness!  The kids come back changed kids!

You all have great day.

Sounds like it will be a really good life lesson for your son. Tough for you though!

Definitely not your normal summer camp...as Shirley said, it should be a good life lesson for him.

Shirley,
I think it will be really good for him!

gtyyup,
He is really looking forward to it. I don't think it really has sunk in how hard it really is going to be!

Oh, LIsa, that is so rough, Matt being away so far and so long. What a shame! Call if there is something we can do. I will just tell a certain someone to take a walk if there are any complaints. you take care.

That sounds like a cool trip your son is going on, but a little bit scary especialy for mom's.
My daughter is gone to Wyoming staying with her best friend for three weeks. This is the logest & the farthest she has ever been away from me.

Well, i hope your son has a great time, and you manage to get some of your own R&R in while they're away.

Threecollie,
Thank you, hopefully things go smoothly! It will be the first time that I have been on my own without the hubby and the son. The daughter is home but you know how that is, she is gone more than she is home!

Stacey,
I know how you feel, or should I say I will know how you feel!

Kathryn,
Actually you are right in part, it will be relaxing to not have to cook and clean and have to worry about anyone but me! Part of me is looking forward to it and the other part is not!
