Not so wordless

Here I go again, no pictures, have found myself not having the time to take pictures.

We are getting rain and it is supposed to get cold and south and east of us are supposed to get some accumulation of snow.   Hopefully it stay away from us.

Nothing much new on the home front.  Thinking about finally getting a Christmas tree this weekend.  We always get a fresh tree, no fake one for us.  I think we have only had one fake tree in the 27 years we have been together.  I just love the smell of a tree in the house.   Not looking forward to trying to put away my nicknack's to make room for the Christmas stuff.   That seems to be a chore in itself.  I hate that they commercialize Christmas before Thanksgiving!  I don't know about you all but by the time Christmas actually gets here, I am ready to put it away and be done with it.

Hope you all have a great night.

We have had snow and then a bitter cold front. Got down to 6 last night, but it has warmed up today to 40. I see a small amount of melt going on out there.

I definitly agree they satart trying to sell Christmas way to early, but I love Christmas and I dont usually take down my decorations till I absolutly have to. We got a fake tree a few years ago after the real ones were ove $40 and really crappy. So its fake and it came with lights on so all I have to do is put decorations on. (and some real pine scent, lol)

No rain here just snow.
We've had a fake tree for over 15 years, even though I do love the smell of a fresh pine tree. My problem is I just can't seem to remember to water a real tree and between the fire hazard and all the falling needles, I just can't do a real one.
We also love to keep our Christmas decorations up all the way until the end of January. We usually get so much snow here that the Christmas lights and decor just add to that Christmas Card festive feel, and really brighten our moods when it's so cold outside and there is so much snow on the ground.

Have fun putting up your Christmas tree. I love the smell of the tree too. I went out and cut a little one today. We have lots of little cedar trees, but not many little pines.

Yes, time for a tree! I have decided that if we don't get it up by Wednesday this week then there's point. Can't stand all that work for just a week or two of tree;)
