Hummin

When I sit beside the pond in the evenings, the hummers will come in and fight over the feeders, even with having four feeders!   You have to make sure you watch your head and don't get dive bombed by them!   They sound like miniature jet plains coming in over your head.   I love to watch them fight over the feeders.  We have three or four of them that are always coming in.   They will weave in and out of the porch even.

I have finally started on another weaving project.   I have been waiting for the yarn that I needed and I had to finally order it myself and get it delivered here.   I have a local guy that I usually get my yarn from and he didn't have the color I wanted and he was supposed to order it for me and have it delivered.  I finally got tired of waiting and ordered it myself and had it here with in three days.  So, if my dear friend is reading this, I will have it done soon.  I am weaving a table runner and I still have three more orders for table runners to do after that.

The weather has been really nice but still waiting to get some rain.  The good thing is we haven't had to mow lawns in two weeks.  The grass is starting to look a little brown.  Which isn't all bad being as we go on vacation and I won't have to worry about things getting away from us during our absences!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

We only have one little hummer visiting, but she doesn't mind if I'm right there weeding, which is very nice.

Great shots. Been trying to leave comments on lots of different blogs, but Blogger is messing with me, so I am leaving this with Wordpress.

I love hummers. We have two feeders and I enjoy watching them fighting over the feeders with all their zooming, chirping and aeronautic displays. You captured such great photos. It's not easy to take good photos of hummers.
