A table runner

This is the weaving project that I am doing next.  It will be a table runner for my best friend.  I have to say thank you to her for being so patient.   I have been holding off doing her runner for a long time and come hell or high water it will be done within the next two weeks.

I am going to have surgery done on my shoulder to repair the tear on my rotator cuff.  I have been in physical therapy and it has done nothing and as far as I am concerned I think it is worse than it was.  Not looking forward to it though, I am going to have a shot in the neck to numb the shoulder and arm.  I would rather do it that way than have them put me under, because the anesthesia makes me sicker than a dog when I wake up.  The surgery takes place on the 27th of this month.  Which is nice being as I get to at least go up to the lake first before the surgery is done.

Speaking of which, we have been spending most of the week getting ready for the vacation.   Mostly done, just have the last minute things left to do before tomorrow afternoon.  I will probably not be blogging for the next week.  I will have lots of pictures though for the following week.  Lots of lake pictures, fishing, wild life and cast iron cooking.

Hope you all have a great day.

Lisa this is absolutely beautiful. I knew it would be from the pattern book, but it is so much more so in your interpretation!

Such a pretty runner! Your friend is gonna be thrilled!
I'm glad you get to enjoy a little vacation before surgery. I hope the surgery gets you back as good as new! It's no fun being in pain.
