Bee Gone

Now that it is colder, the hubby and son decided to go around the house and barn and take down all the bee hives.  This paper wasp nest was on the eaves of the house.  It was nice to have it taken down.  The husband just noticed it a couple of weeks ago and decided that it has to come down before the warm season starts back up.  I told him that he should take the ones down on the barn too!

We get lots of wasps and hornets that love to build nests in the equipment also.  Nasty little things.

We had some wicked winds today.  The only good thing was that it was for the most part in the upper 20's and not down in the single digits.   That wind can get pretty darn nasty when it is cold and then of course it did decide that it was going to snow also.  We didn't get much of that though.

Hope you have a great week.

That is an impressive nest. My husband gets rid of them too, they sure can be built in a hurry. Stay warm:)

We get those nasty things here also. And they love the equipment and the clothes line and just anything. Burn the suckers I say!
