Weaving

Connie suggested that I let people know what weaving is.  So, I put together a short video of me weaving.  Let me know if this would be good to put up on my web site.   I still have lots of modifications to make to the web site.  I love your suggestions, so go have a look and give me lots of suggestions.  I will be updating the web site Thursday.

We are getting our snow storm.   We are supposed to get anywhere from 9 to 14 inches today.  Lovely!  I kept telling everyone, that once February hit the snow would begin!  We had seen lots of cold and ice and rain even a little of snow but the big snow storms usually start this month.  (at least in the last few years).

The other picture are the towels with a little closer look.   They will look so much different once they have been taken off the loom and finished.  They are under a lot of tension when they are on the loom.

Hope you have a good day.

Cute video! You are so silent. Tell us more. Weaving is an art form and lots of things have to come together to weave. Warp, shuttles..and is the a whep? All those "thingys" in the back shifting and moving are interesting to me..and what you are doing with your feet to make them move and why?
I will shut up now:)

Very good! It looks very complicated. I'm so glad you like doing it.

Cool- and yes, more info on weaving! Maybe take photos of the parts and identify them for us? And how do you get a pattern as opposed to a stripe?

You are killing me, I would have a 100 pages trying to explain weaving. There is a lot involved!
I will try. but so you know, I don't put that on the website because it is too involved.
