STRESS

The cardiologist did a stress test and said that I did fine.  I have to go back next week to have an ultrasound done on the heart, to see if anything shows up on why I am having an abnormal EKG.  He said that my cholesterol was high, but the regular doctor never told me about that the other day.  I then have to go back to the cardiologist in 6 weeks for a check up on my cholesterol.   I always seem to forget to ask questions, like why is the EKG abnormal, and how bad is the cholesterol etc.  I am going to call the office tomorrow and see if I can get the answers to those question.

It was a lot nicer here today, the winds have gone done a lot and the sun actually was shining and no snow flurries.   South of the city is supposed to get blizzard conditions, along with DC and some of the other southern states.  They can keep it!

After the doctor, it was grocery shopping and visiting the aunt and uncle for a bit.  Went to TJ Maxx to use my 25 dollar gift certificate.  Then it was home to put groceries away and cook supper.  Pretty much took care of my day.  Tomorrow Jake gets his stitches taken out, then next week is another full week of appointments and running.

Hope you have a great evening.

I often write down issues and questions to take to appointments to discuss with doctors, because, yes, we forget when we are there. I hope your upcoming visits show your health to be good.

I have to make lists...I went to the doc last year for a prescription and just about walked out without it I was visiting so much.

WHat pain all those appointments, I often forget to ask all the questions too, its awful when you leave and then remember them all.

Write all your questions down. They should have explained to you why your EKG was abnormal...like what part was abnormal? Could it be a testing error? Perhaps it is something you were born with...one never knows but it is a good thing that you are getting all checked out:) Try not to stress I know it is hard!
